OK - I've started this year in review thing, and I am determined to complete it. I need to get all of this written out before I forget it! :)
So, June.
In June, I restarted this blog and started posting some crafts I had made, starting with some Father's Day gifts.
For Dan's first Father's Day, I wanted to do something special. But I needed pictures first. I took advantage of a cloudy day (great for photography) and sent Eva and Dan out to our back patio for a photo shoot. I believe that Dan thought this was completely impromptu, but really I had it planned ahead of time. I was just waiting on the right conditions.
I got some great photos. Two of then I have posted below.
I used these photos for chipboard book that can be found in this post: Father's Day Gifts - Part 1
And to make this card for him:
Towards the end of June, we got together for my nephew Corbin's first birthday party. His party was Sock Monkey themed, and all of the kids attending the party got adorable sock monkeys. Eva quickly became BFFs with her pink one.
It was a gorgeous summer day and I was able to get some great (I think) pictures of each of the cousins seperately. Too bad the group photos didn't turn out so well.
